So it is blazing hot in Columbia, SC right now. With a daily temperature of 100 degrees I am craving the brisk fall weather. The smell of the air, the crunch of the leaves, the beautiful warm elegant colors. Sigh.
Here is what I see...
Your guests arrive to the beautiful site of your wedding. Fields of cotton in front of you and the apple orchard to the right. The beautiful barn lies in wait for the party that will celebrate the new life you have just begun. The sun has not set but will soon. Maybe it looks a little like this image by Robbie Bellamy...
Your best friends and sister are helping you get dressed in your beautiful white gown. You are wearing something classic and simple. They are wearing earthy brown or tan. Maybe something like these gorgeous dresses from JCrew...
And I bet they are wearing these shoes from Marc by Marc Jacobs...
If their $125 price tag turns you off go for these for under $10 from AmiClubWear.
Your future initial marks the burlap aisle runner that is staked down and mounted with these gorgeous not at all jack o lanterns.
Burlap aisle runner by Shannon Summerlin-Pfingsten and Pumpkins by Josh Kilmer-Purcell and Brent Ridge (check out the tutorial http://beekman1802.com/decor/pumpkin-lantern.html)
The sun is beginning to set and the candles in those pumpkins are creating pure magic as the sky now matches your color scheme filled with the beauty of sunset.
You clutch your perfect wheat bouquet to top it all off with effortless grace. The chocolate ribbon picks up the brown of your bridesmaids' dresses and you walk down the aisle to meet your groom.

Check back tomorrow for how I would do the reception to end this perfect ceremony.
