Lace, burlap and lots of cotton or linen in navy, crimson, and white or just off white. Lots of prints in gingham, stripe, polka dot, stars... etc.
Food: Mini hamburgers, fried or baked mac and cheese balls, potato salad, cole slaw, and fruit (strawberries, and blueberries).
Donning top hats, fake mustaches and smiles, clown noses, and a giant plastic engagement ring, Marisa and Paul’s wedding guests clamored to capture their frivolity in photos. The couple engineered a photo station on the lawn with simple elements: a digital SLR camera, a tripod, a ring flash (a donut-shaped flash that fits around the camera lens and eliminates shadows in close-up photography) attached to a professional flash, and a remote control tied with a piece of ribbon to two chairs facing the camera. Guests chose their props, sat down, and hit a button on the remote each time they were ready. After the celebration, Marisa and Paul loaded the photos onto their wedding website for everyone to enjoy. Best of all, the flash equipment and remote are readily available online or at many camera retailers. (http://www.mvislandweddings.com/article.php?28602) See photos below...
